Tammy & Klyve
Biography
The story started many years ago with a young girl and her baby brother singing at Sabbath school; soon word got out about the power vocals that they had. Their talent would see them being sought after by most of the gospel groups in western Jamaica. From singing at churches and schools they would go to the capital city to win gold medals in the festival competitions.
Showjam Promotions Company in its quest to attain the best talents signed the siblings to their roster of new talents. Pairing them with other great harmony singers they took the resorts by storm and quickly earned the reputation of being the best new group on the resort circuit. The Jamaica Federation of Musicians agreed with this by bestowing the award of best new Artist on them in 2003.
They have recorded an album as a group, solo recordings and most recently their Duo initiatives. They spend a lot of time in the studio, between touring the world with ETANA and still exercising their talents on the cabaret circuit.
After years of performing in the resorts, for corporate Jamaica and local audiences, they consistently prove their performing skills as they never fail to move their audiences. Tammy and Klyve are definitely an act to look out for; as they are armed with talent, experience and focus.
